Introduction
This document will take you through the steps needed to become familiar with using gAlan. You'll get more out of it if you actually have a copy of gAlan running alongside this tutorial - learning by doing is far more effective than learning by reading!
The mesh that you will construct during this tutorial is available in the doc/examples directory of the distribution, as tutorial.galan. (Note that when you load the tutorial example you will most likely need to visit each sampled-voice component to alter the path to the relevant samples - the paths on my system are almost guaranteed to be slightly different to yours.)
